Dr. Habil. Chiara Pierobon
Keynote speaker
Dr. habil. Chiara Pierobon holds a bi-national PhD in Sociology and Social Research awarded by the University of Bielefeld (Germany) and the University of Trento (Italy). Her main areas of expertise are EU’s support to civil society in Central Asia, promotion of democracy, human rights and sustainable development, prevention of violent extremism (PVE), public diplomacy, social capital and resilience.

Dr. Srdjan REDZEPAGIC

Dr. Srdjan REDZEPAGIC a full professor of economics at Université Côte d’Azur in France and a scientific researcher in economic sciences. He has Diploma ability to conduct researches (HDR – Habilitation à diriger des recherches). His academic career is marked by his work as a scientist at the Université Côte d’Azur in Nice (France) and as a visiting/adjunct professor at several renowned worldwide universities.

Assoc.Prof. Marko Tomljanović

Associate Professor Marko Tomljanović in the Department of International Economics at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics and Business (EFRI), holder of the Jean Monnet Chair and Jean Monnet Module. He is engaged in lectures and seminars classes at several courses dealing with topics of the EU, European integration, international trade etc.

Dr. Jildiz Nicharapova

Dr. Jildiz Nicharapova holds both a Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Political Science from Sciences Po Aix-en-Provence, France. Since 2023, she has been serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). Dr. Jildiz Nicharapova has also been an invited professor at several universities across Europe, including in France, Germany, and Poland. Dr. Nicharapova has published over twenty-five articles and book chapters in journals and edited volumes across Europe, Latin America, and CIS countries.

Miryakub T. Xaydarov

Miryakub T. Xaydarov is an experienced economist with a PhD in Economics from the Institute of Economy of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. Over his career, he has held key roles in government, banking, and academia, including senior positions at the Ministry of Labor, the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity, and ABN AMRO Bank. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor at the National University of Uzbekistan, where he contributes to research and teaching in economic theory.

Eldaniz Gusseinov

Eldaniz Gusseinov is a Non-Resident Research Fellow at the Heydar Aliyev Centre for Eurasian Studies, Ibn Haldun University (Istanbul), and co-founder of Nightingale Intelligence, a political forecasting consultancy. He specialises in European and international studies, focusing on the European Union’s foreign policy and its interaction with Central Asian countries, as well as analysing foreign policy processes in Central Asia.
