EICCA’s Final Module on Sectoral Policies of the European Union Successfully Delivered!

At the Institute of Economy and Trade of the Tajik State University of Commerce, the final module of the EICCA course under the Jean Monnet Project was successfully conducted by Assistant Lecturer of the World Economy Department, Shahnozakhon Abdulfayzova.

This module, dedicated to “Sectoral Policies of the European Union,” provided students with comprehensive insights into key EU policy areas shaping economic, environmental, and security landscapes. Key topics covered included:

— Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) – supporting farmers, ensuring food security, and promoting sustainable agriculture in the EU.

— Cohesion Process and Regional Development Policy – fostering economic growth and reducing regional disparities across member states.

— EU Foreign and Security Policy – addressing diplomacy, defense, and the EU’s global role.

— The European Green Deal and Environmental Policy – ambitious initiatives for climate neutrality and environmental protection.

The module aimed to deepen students’ understanding of the EU’s sectoral strategies, strengthen analytical skills, and enhance knowledge of European integration processes.

We are proud of the active participation and curiosity shown by our learners, which continues to advance EICCA’s mission of promoting EU-related expertise and academic exchange in Central Asia.
